To Catch A Predator

Game Time: 7:30 PM CST
TV/Radio: CSN/WGN (720 AM)

Coach Q, why don't you have a seat over there. So, why did you come here today? To start a goalie, huh? And which goalie did you come here to start? Marty Turco? Huh, well we have these tweets here from Adam Jahns saying you're starting Corey Crawford tonight. And I should let you know that my name is Andrew and I'm a blogger for Blackhawks Down Low and we're doing a post about your game tonight against the Predators. *Q hides his face, runs out the front door, and gets tackled by Cristobal Huet*

Well, I made jokes Monday night that we have a goalie controversy on our hands since Crawford has more wins than Turco. I'd like to stress that these were JOKES, Joel. Regardless, Corey Crawford is getting the start in net tonight for the Hawks. My theory behind this is that he wants to rest Turco a little before the Hawks play 7 games over the next 11 days.

The Hawks can probably get away with it tonight, since they're facing the goal-challenged Predators who are down a few players. Shitstains Jordin Tootoo and Martin Erat aren't travelling to Chicago. Staying back with them is lanky-ass goalie Pekka Rinne. The Preds are giving the nod to Anders Lindback. This will be Lindback's first career start.

This is a game where the Hawks will likely miss Brian Campbell. His breakout abilities were key in breaking the trap during the playoffs.

Hammer is out tonight while serving the first game of his two game suspension. The NHL told him in his conference call that he hit Pominville too hard. I don't even want to get into how stupid that is. The defensemen dressing tonight are Seabs, Keith, Leddy, Boynton, Scott, and Hendry. Thankfully the Hawks aren't facing a team with tons of weapons.

The young guys need to step up tonight. The Preds will probably be matching their top D pair of Shea Weber and Ryan Suter against the top Hawks line. The fourth line has been flying recently. I'd like to see Skille or Stalberg pick up a goal tonight. Leddy is going to be forced to make a good first pass all night. Win the neutral zone, win the game.

Let's Go Hawks
