"The report of my death was an exaggeration." - Mark Twain / 2011 Blackhawks
Here we are on Friday morning. The Canucks won game three on Sunday and a full week will pass before they have the chance to end this in game six. The Blackhawks have shown up and won the last two games by a combined 12-2 margin. Goal differential is pretty important here; that Chicago has outscored Vancouver 18-12 means good things could be in store. Down only 3-2 a bounce here or there in the first three games could see Chicago as the team with the series lead. Short of Wayne Gretzky circa 1989 joining the Canucks no bounces are going to turn around games 4 and 5.
Game six is on Sunday at the United Center and unlike Vancouver halfway through the second last night I doubt there'll be any empty seats.
