Must be a nice time up in Vancouver. It would be pretty hard to get angry about a blizzard when you're seven points ahead of the closest team in the conference. But that's just the way things have been going in the NHL this year. The Canucks have a very strong team and, much like the Capitals last year, are benefiting from playing in a really weak division. In addition to the cellar dweller Oilers, the Flames, Wild, and Avalanche are all on the outside of the playoff picture.
Meanwhile in Columbus, the Hawks have just beat the BJs. Jonathan Toews looked like a man possessed and absolutely dominated play. Here's to hoping it spreads through the locker room before the Hawks take on their not so loved rivals.
Marty Turco gets the go in net again. Its assumed that Bro-berto Luongo will start for the Canucks, but not 100% certainty since the Nucks just called up their top goalie prospects.
That's about it for the preview since I'm sick. But I can't just let this go without posting a few of my favorite Canuck pictures.
I hope you are now sufficiently creeped out. Go Hawks.
